Legalize it. Normalize it. Access it.

Advocating for cannabinoid-based medicine as a front-line solution for symptoms and clusters of symptoms related to Autism.

Discover it.

Medical cannabis is not yet recognized by the educational and medical institutions that provide autism diagnosis and ongoing care, so most families don’t even know about it. We need to make sure all families know that medical cannabis exists as a solution and how they can gain access to it.

Destigmatize it.

Because marijuana is classified as a Schedule 1 federally illegal substance, in spite of having proven medicinal benefits it carries a heavy burden of stigmatization. We need to normalize medicinal use as a front-line treatment.

Legalize it.

In order for medical cannabis to be de-stigmatized and accessible, it needs to be legal in all 50 states. While cannabis is currently legal for autism in 23 states, our mission is to make sure it’s medically legal everywhere so that doctors can provide recommendations (which is like a prescription) to individuals in need.

Access it.

Once an individual has a recommendation from a doctor, they are on their own to figure out how to fulfill it. Our mission is to make medical cannabinoid solutions easily accessible and comfortable to obtain through local dispensaries.

Use it (appropriately).

There is no standard for dosage, and it’s up to families to experiment until they find the right balance for the individual. Having the support and counsel of other families who have gone through this process is indispensable. Our mission is to create virtual community spaces where these conversations can happen.
